As a candidate for County Supervisor in District 3, I want to share my journey and commitment to sustainable forest management through my business, Cascade Custom Cutting Inc., founded in 2021. With lifelong experience in the logging, mastication, and fuel reduction sectors, I have dedicated my efforts to ensuring the highest quality service for our clients while maintaining a strong focus on environmental stewardship.

Holding a bachelor's degree in Natural Resource and Forest Operations Management from Oregon State University, I leverage my education to instill best practices among my operators and crew. My approach emphasizes responsible forest management, ensuring that our natural resources are preserved and enhanced for future generations.

At Cascade Custom Cutting Inc., we have successfully completed numerous projects across various environments, collaborating with partners in the Forest Service on several federal timber sales. Notably, my team has worked on stewardship agreements that prioritize post-logging treatments, including mastication, hand crews, and road removal and rehabilitation. These efforts are vital in completing our projects while safeguarding the ecological integrity of our forests.

In addition to federal timber sales, we take pride in our work with private landowners, ranging from large timber corporations like Sierra Pacific Industries, Hearst Forests, W.M. Beaty, and Ecotrust Forest Management to small local ranch owners. A highlight of our commitment to the community includes post-fire restoration efforts following the Mill Fire, where we undertook essential tasks such as cutting and piling large materials for burning, mastication across diverse terrains, and road building and rebuilding.

As your County Supervisor, I will continue to advocate for sustainable forest management practices, ensuring our community thrives economically while safeguarding our environment. Together, we can protect our natural resources and enhance our quality of life in District 3.
